A starving polar bear

This campaign, The Melting of The Poles, aims at putting in the spotlight the issue of the reduction, each year, of the ice sheet covering the Artic ocean which jeopardises the survival of animal species such as polar bears.

It will also highlight how faster the Antartica has been melting in the recent years and what does that mean for all of us.

This campaign will bring you the facts about these issues as well as giving you concrete and immediate actions you can take to be part of the much needed collective effort to tackle them.

The facts

I CARE. I DRAW. I SUPPORT.

“Greenhouses gases are a real issue to tackle climate change and has an already visible effect – the Poles are melting.

Reducing your meat consumption, switch to electric cars or just switch off your computer overnight will make a difference.

I support Greenpeace in their relentless green watch over governments and corporations and their fight to preserve our wildlife and environement”

Terms & conditions

Use the form below and pledge any amount you wish. You will only get asked to honour it should the campaign succeed within the given timeframe.

A post-email campaign will be sent either way that will guide you the next step.

For transparency purposes, all pledgers are asked to allow their identity and the amount pledged to be published on the website along the time and date at the time of the submission.

But remember, the artwork will be given away to the most generous pledger!

Drawing United will collect the pledges via this website and will make a donation from the chosen charity website.

Donation receipt will be made public via the site and/or social media channels.

We will also, when possible, ask the chosen charity to acknowledge receipt of the donation via their preferred way of doing so.

If the target fails to be hit within the given timeframe, none of the submitted pledges will be asked to be honoured and the campaign will be terminated

However, the featured artwork will be up for sale - at the indicated price above - and all of part of the sale will be given to the chosen charity.

In the event where two or several people are tied to win the artwork - ie they all pledged the same amount which is the highest across the board, whoever will have submitted his/her pledge first will take the prize.

The winner must honour his pledge to receive the prize.

An A4 digital print of a 'surprise' artwork will also be won by the 2nd and 3rd highest pledger while the 4th and 5th will take home an in-house screen printed Drawing United Tote bag!

The same 'first pledged, win' rule applies as per the top prize.
